hearthcricket said: Hi, Bryan! I'm a big fan of Lois and Clark's relationship on Smallville, and the episodes you wrote are among my favorites. What is your favorite Lois/Clark scene that you wrote for the show? What was it like writing for Tom and Erica?

bryanqmiller:

Thanks!

It’s no secret that my favorite scene between those two of all time is the dunk tank bit at the end of “Facade” in Season 4.

As for scenes that I wrote? That one’s a toughie. There are a bunch of others that came I great that I had a hand in but didn’t directly author, but I think these apply from mine:

Committed" (S8) - The morning after/hangover scene and the "proposal".

Masquerade" (S10) - Lois giving Clark a hard time about needing to embrace a secret identity (the bit with the Impulse hoodie).

Prophecy" (S10) - Lois and Clark and the confusion after she gets back from her save in another state.

The chemistry between Tom and Erica really just grew and blossomed wonderfully, so it was a privilege to be able to write for them in the latter half of the series when they were actually allowed to have tons of screen time and stories together.
